Not everyone becomes a preacher or preaches on the world stage. Not every girl becomes a preacher’s wife or gets to sing at the biggest conferences, but everyone has their place in the kingdom of God. 
I think lofty goals and dreams of grandeur are great and I don’t ever want to suppress that. 
Hand in hand with that, I believe there are many areas to serve in God’s kingdom. It is our job as Sunday school leaders and teachers to help light the path, to show the way to kids under our guidance on any given Sunday that they too can have a place to serve the kingdom.

Kids ministry is a place where talent is born. This can be on a few different levels. When we are ministering to kids, we are trying to bring them closer to God and we want to help them discover their God-given talents. But Sunday school is also where our staff is able to be developed. 
Staff development has happened as a by-product of what we do; giving people experience talking in front of people, being on stage, and working with a team. Today we want to talk about being intentional with that staff development. 

Some of the things we try to cover:

• Getting over stage fright
• Low-Risk Threshold opportunity
• Entry level for several roles
• Intentional development

When I was growing up, I read a lot of the Hardy Boys series. I remember that many times a chapter would end in suspense, it left you wondering what would happen to them. That made you want to turn the page and keep reading. 

In Sunday school we want kids to have such a good time that they want to come back and one of the many methods we use is cliffhangers. We have continuous theme storylines, and the kids become invested in the story and want to know what will happen next. Today we want to talk about using cliffhangers in Sunday school.

There’s a term used often in the church-world; we wear many hats. In some cursory research, this phrase comesfrom the mid-1900’s when professions were quite identifiable by their hats. 
I know that our church is not uniquein the fact that many of us in Sunday school ministry wear many different hats. In our Sunday school we oftenwear several hats just within Sunday school-sometimes literally. 

We can have an impact and make animpression when we invest in the character we are portraying and today we want to talk about keeping thatdelineation between characters and various staff roles.

• Don't break the fourth wall
• Cast for consistency
