A California jury found Bryn Spejcher guilty of involuntary manslaughter for stabbing Chad O'Melia more than 100 times while in a “marijuana-induced psychosis.” A judge sentenced her to probation and community service. Spejcher is appealing her conviction, saying she was tricked by O'Melia into using incredibly high-potency cannabis. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber discusses the conviction, the appeal, and Spejcher’s defense with forensic psychologist Dr. Apryl Alexander.
