Our final reminder this Sunday focuses on Who Jesus Cares about. How wide-sweeping was Jesus' atonement? Most of the world (5.4 billion people) does not believe nor care about Jesus. Does He care about them? Did He die for them? If He did, what is the sense of going to the cross for people who will ever believe? But wait, maybe Jesus' atonement was limited. Maybe it was only limited to those who receive Him by faith? Which is it? Did He did for everyone or not? This Sunday come and be reminded who Jesus cares about.

As followers of Christ, God expects us to do one thing...Follow His Son. Do you do this perfectly? Have you ever failed? Yes? Good news, we have examples of people just like you, who were reminded, after failing, to keep following Jesus! So come be reminded of what you are to do, by the real life example of Peter.

We talk a lot about the command to love God and love your neighbor. Jesus said His disciples would be known by their love for one another. We're even called to radically love our enemies. The Bible is clear, love is one of the highest values of the Christian life. Come be reminded of what love is as we look at one of the most beautiful descriptions of love ever written.

What actually is the American Dream, and is it guiding our daily lives? When we sit back and evaluate our life's desires, is it based on the American Dream? Or, are we guided by the Realities embedded in the Bible? When we choose to live a life modeled after Christ we find that it is not what some Americans or people around the world desire. It's hard work and choice of dying to one's self every day to live for Him. Our reminders this week are about how we should live a life led by Biblical Realities as stated in the Great Commission, wisdom from Paul and so much more.

Reminders...sometimes the things we are reminded of are not that pleasant. Other times, the reminders are refreshing, pleasant and comforting. Reminders do not reveal new things to us, but rather bring to mind something we already know, but maybe have forgotten. It's good for us to have our memory jogged once in a while. This Sunday, we begin a 5-part series entitled "Reminders."

Do you know where you fit within the local congregation of believers? What are your gifts and abilities? We are called the "Body of Christ" and the Body is comprised of multiple parts which must work together. Knowing where you fit and functioning as you were designed to function is vital to the effectiveness of the local church (Body of Christ). The Apostle Paul gives us a lot to think about in 1 Corinthians 12, as he talks about the Body and its various parts. What part of the Body are you?

Have you ever wondered who is in charge of the church? We all may have ideas or opinions about who is in charge. Is it the pastor, the board or the congregation? What if the answer is "none of the above?" As we continue in our "We Are The Church" series, let's explore together what the Bible has to say about Who is in charge of the church.

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself, "Who or What is the church?" If someone were to ask you that question, do you have a good, biblical answer? The answer to the question may surprise some. You and I have been given the responsibility, as followers of Christ, to share the Message of the Gospel. Not everyone who hears the Message will believe. However, it is incredibly important that we are sharing the RIGHT Message. The right Message is the truth about Jesus Christ (The Gospel). Those who hear and believe are in a great position to place their faith in Jesus, call upon Him and be saved. We MUST have the right Message!

The Jewish religious leaders had complicated what it meant to be righteous. They had added to the Law given to Moses by God and made their own laws. Paul seems to be correcting this error. He lets us know in this letter that salvation is for all who believes and God did not make it complicated. Join us as we explore this incredible truth.
