The study of the End Times is very intriguing to many people. Curiosity raises questions like, "When will the end of times occur?" "Is there going to be a Rapture?" "If there is a Rapture, when will it occur?" Then there are questions about the Great Tribulation, the antichrist, the Battle of Armageddon and many other details. What, if anything, does the Bible have to say about the End Times? That's the basic question we want to address this Sunday.

In 1 Timothy 4, Paul encourages Timothy to focus on what matters - training himself in godliness. By making the comparison between physical training and spiritual training, Paul is making this point; training in godliness should not only be a pursuit of knowledge, but a process that results in the practice of godly living. This is an evergreen instruction for every Believer. Regardless of age or where you are in your relationship with Jesus, you can become more godly. Join us this Sunday as we breakdown three training requirements that must be met if we want to grow in godliness.

The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Wouldn't it be an honor to have Jesus teach you to pray? Consider yourself honored...because Jesus has given us a pattern for prayer . This week we will explore the miracle of "Jesus feeds the five thousand" in John, and look at what had happened up to that point and what happens the day after. Do we ever find ourselves acting like the people who followed Jesus across a sea, so desperate for Him, just to ask for more bread? What was His response? What does it mean? How do we live our lives when He truly is our "Bread of Life?"

Has God ever supplied beyond your expectation? Probably so, but a Shepherd King that produces healing, teaching, changing weather patterns, casting out thousands of demons, raising the dead and feeding over 5,000 people went way beyond the Messianic expectations of the captivated crowd and dumbfounded disciples. The Gospel of Mark drives home the essential principle of multiplication at the core of the Kingdom of God and invites us to be a part of this life perpetuating theme Jesus reveals to His disciples. This Messiah is a multiplier beyond expectation.

Throughout our daily lives there are times when we experience doubts. These can range from small and insignificant to serious and life changing. When Jesus fed the 5,000, can you imagine the disciples response as He told them they would feed all who had gathered? Do you think they had their doubts? What began as doubts quickly turned into faith in what Christ can do with us, and through us. Join us as we study what's in the basket God has provided each and everyone of us!

Jesus' miracles seem to always have two layers. There's the obvious first physical layer and a second layer meant to teach and shape the faith of His disciples. When we look at the Feeding of the 5,000, we see Jesus brilliantly take an opportunity to meet a felt physical need while simultaneously pointing to an even deeper spiritual truth: He is the Bread of LIfe sent from heaven.

Is God good? Does He have a plan? God's plan doesn't always align with our plan. His goodness may look a bit different than what we think it should. Could it be that God has a plan for our lives which extends beyond our earthly experience? This passage of Scripture may help us accept and desire God's plan more than ever, once we understand His purpose for our lives.

Hope. What is it? Biblical hope is somewhat different than the hope we often talk about. "I hope this or that happens." Biblical hope is assurance or confidence. What hope do we have as believers? Romans 8:18-27 gives us an idea of what we hope for.

Do you realize who you are as a believer? Your standing with God is amazing! One of the incredible benefits of living under the control of the Spirit is that you are a child of God. Great blessings are ours because we are His children. We can have confidence of our eternal destiny, as children of God.
