Most of us spend a lot of our time and energy doing things to get more comfortable. Our consumeristic culture tells us that our top priority in life should be to maximize our physical, emotional, and financial comfort. But in today’s sermon, we’ll explore the challenging truth that God calls us beyond our comfort zones to a higher purpose. Join us as we wrap up our series on the biblical book of Esther. 

Many of us would say that our lives haven’t exactly unfolded according to our plans. We had hoped for something better or perhaps just something different. Nevertheless, here we are…living through the unexpected. In today’s sermon, we’ll look at the biblical story of a woman who can certainly relate. We’ll learn from her example how we can stay connected with God and find renewed purpose as we navigate the unexpected (and sometimes unwanted) turns life takes.
