  • Fornication & Idolatry

In this episode, we look at the connection between fornication and idolatry. We look at what makes these things wrong, why we need to avoid them, and what the spiritual implications of them are. We go throughout the scriptures to expose the lies of the enemy, through which he tries to lead people down this road. We examine the dangers of this course of action and how to escape if we find ourselves there. It is the Lord’s will that we flee fornication and idolatry. Let’s make the choice today to stand on the Word of God and give all of ourself to Him.

  • Obtaining Prosperity

In this episode, we look at how we, as Christians, can obtain true prosperity. We look at David’s last words of teaching to Solomon and see how he gave him the keys to success. Then we look at what true success means and what it looks like. We also go through the scriptures to look at how prudence is critical to being successful. God desires above all that we prosper and are in health, and it’s important that we understand prosperity so that we can not only enjoy it but also grow with it as we grow with God. Let’s make the choice today to follow the Word of God, and obtain prosperity.

  • Adaptability

In this episode, we look at the importance of adapting. As Christians we are always called to adapt, our walk of faith is defined by change. We look at how Paul learned the importance of adapting and how he acted on it. We also look at the importance of adapting when it comes to telling others about the Lord, adapting to be able to tell them in a way they would understand. Fear of the unknown and an unwillingness to sacrifice will attempt to hold us back, but we can't allow these devices of the enemy, to keep us back from the opportunities and blessings that God has for us. Let's make the choice today to adapt to God's plan for our lives.

  • Empty Highways

In this episode, we look at the empty highways of Israel. Israel in the days of Shamgar had empty highways and the Bible tells us, the the villagers ceased. We look at what these things really mean and how things got to this point. We go throughout scripture to see that this wasn’t the only time Israel faced something like this and we see how they overcame the obstacles they faced. There’s a lot that we can learn from Israel’s empty highways and there’s a lot that we can apply to our own lives. Many people today are living empty lives and just like Israel’s highways they need to be filled. Let’s make the choice today to turn to the Lord so He can fill us.

  • Combating Confusion

In this episode, we look at how we, as the people of God, are to properly combat confusion. We go throughout scripture to see that God never wants us to be confused and He never confuses His own people. Confusion is a tool of spiritual warfare that the enemy uses against us. This is why we must be ready and able to combat it. We find that understanding is the greatest way to do this. We must get and operate in understanding. When we have this, we will know the true meaning of what is going on around us and we’ll know why it is happening and how it fits in to God’s plan. Let’s make the choice today to get understanding so that we can combat confusion.

  • Serving Mammon

In this episode, we look at the Aramaic word ‘mammon’ in the New Testament, to see what exactly it means, and what our proper relationship to it should be. We look throughout scripture to see how the Lord desires for us to use the money He has given us, and to see what the purpose of it really is. Money is not our provider, it’s not the source of our blessings, it’s only a tool. It’s a tool that we’ve been given to further God’s will and to do the work of God that we’re being called to. We have to steward and use it correctly. Let’s make the choice today to serve the Lord, instead of mammon.

  • Where Are You?

In this episode, we look at a fundamental question that we should all ask ourselves, ‘Where are you?’ We go through the scriptures to see that this was the first question that the Lord asked Adam after he sinned, and we look at how it wasn’t only addressed to Adam, it’s also addressed to us today. When we sin and miss the mark, when we deviate from the will of God, we need to have a moment of inflection and self-realization and ask ourselves ‘Where are you?’ It’s only after we answer this question honestly, that we can then be freed.

  • Hannah's Prayer

In this episode, we look at Hannah’s prayer. We go back throughout scripture to look at what made Hannah’s prayer, we look at why her prayer was answered and the effect that her prayer had on her life. Her prayer is a good example that we can learn from about how to pray. Her prayer was from the heart, she wasn’t just speaking meaningless words, and because she meant what she said, God gave her the petition of her heart. Prayer is our greatest asset in the Christian life, the better we know how to use it and the more we use it, the better off we’ll be. Let’s make the choice today to learn from Hannah’s prayer.

  • Recognizing Jesus

In this episode, we look at recognizing Jesus and what this really means for us as Christians today. First, we look at the arrest of Jesus, when the very people looking to catch him, one his very own disciple, face to face with him, didn’t recognize him, multiple times. We look at how this could happen and what we can learn from it. We look at how that very reaction was prophesied in the scriptures and we look at how that shows us how Christians come before the Lord today. Many don’t recognize Jesus for who He is as their God and as their Friend. Let’s make the choice today to recognize Jesus.

  • Love Not The World

In this episode, we look at why we are commanded to love not the world and what this entails for us as believers. God gave us this command for a reason. The world system, in it’s fallen state, is contrary to the desires and purposes of God and since it deviates from God, we shouldn’t love the world. What we see and hear should bother us but it should also drive us to action. Even though we are not to love the world, we should love the people of the world. We should love them enough to want to see them become free in Christ. Let’s make the choice today to love not the world.
