The quarterback timeline, offensive line development, and defensive stars all point to 2026 as the original target year — which means they won it all in 2025 ahead of schedule, reframing the "they lost so much" narrative and explaining why Vegas has Indiana third in the country in odds to go undefeated, behind only Notre Dame and Texas Tech.
