A lawyer who's been denied a chance to represent rancher Cliven Bundy in Nevada, says he'll sue the federal judge handling the case, along with President Obama. The judge rejected Larry Klayman's bid to join Bundy's defense, because he is facing disciplinary proceedings in a separate case. Klayman is the founder of Judicial Watch.
Cliven Bundy's actual lawyer Joel Hansen is suing Obama, the judge, Senator Harry Reid, Rory Reid and others citing "Misuse of Power." They're suing the President for making mocking comments about Bundy at the last White House Correspondents dinner.

CEOs rated Nevada 9th out of 50, as a 'best' state in which to do business, according to "Chief Executive" magazine's annual "Best & Worst States for Business" survey. This reflects a drop of one notch from Nevada's 2015 survey ranking of 8. Nevada also ranked as the 3rd best state for taxation and regulation. The Best & Worst States for Business survey gauges the sentiment of CEOs on a variety of measures that they themselves have viewed as critical. These include the tax and regulatory regime, the quality of the workforce, and the quality of the living environment.

A lawsuit has ended a public private partnership intended to shrink the wild horse population by the use of contraceptives. BLM ended the program that was working on a herd southeast of Carson City in the Pine Nut Mountains. The effort was employed because horses can't legally be gathered in that area. But BLM stopped it after threats of a lawsuit by a group called Friends of Animals. They say arming private landowners with rifles to dart mares seems like a direct violation of the 1971 Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act, which prohibits landowners from intentionally harassing wild horses who wander onto their land. Under the Act, the only recourse for a landowner is to request that BLM take the horses back onto federal land.
