The National Weather Service has issued a "Flood Watch" for the Reno/Sparks area from late tonight until Tuesday morning. The City of Reno has crews on standby and is monitoring the situation closely. The highest risk of flooding is along creeks, streams and poor-drainage areas. This includes creeks and streams that drain the foothills and the Carson Range such as Steamboat Creek, Dry Creek and Eagle Valley Creek. People living along small creeks and streams should monitor the latest weather information to be prepared to take action should flooding occur.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has arrested three men on suspicion of making methamphetamine. The sheriff’s officer was walking through a casino and saw the men Johnathan Denning, 29, of Washoe Valley, Jeremy Fogelson, 32, of Gardnerville and Frazier Young, 30, of Reno, with what looked like chemical burns on their hands. The men agreed to a search of their vehicle. Deputies say they found a suitcase in the vehicle containing a small Meth lab. A Hazmat team was called in to test and clean up the chemicals.

Reno Police were called to a rollover accident in the North valleys area, near Blue Sage Court and Mount Babcock Street a little before midnight last night. Officers found one of the driver's involved in the accident had been killed. Investigators say it was determined that the driver of the vehicle that struck the other vehicle was intoxicated, and had been speeding. Twenty one year old Matthew Ronald Svetlik has been booked for suspicion of driving under the influence. The victim of the crash has been identified as 21 year old, Reno resident, Danica Jensen.

A 24-year old Sparks man has been arrested for allegedly producing and possessing child pornography. Sparks Police started with a report of a possible child molestation involving a 3-year old child. During the early stages of the investigation, officers discovered child pornography. Police say Dillon Shattuck Rogers-Early had produced child pornography, and was also in possession of child pornography.

He's accused of lewd contact with a child, and faces multiple felony charges.
