A fire at the La Quinta inn on Market Street forced guests out early this morning. The fire was in a breezway, and no rooms were damaged. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.

A person of interest is being held in Carson City, as part of an investigation into threats against Justice Court Judge John Tatro. The threats include a gun being fired at his front door, and an incendiary device in his driveway. The man is being held on unrelated charges, he's 74 year old John Aston

KOLO 8 is reporting a helicopter went down at the Carson City Airport shortly before 5 p.m., but everyone walked away from the incident, without any real injuries, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. Details are still sketchy, but it's being described a a hard landing.
