A portion of State Route 446, out by Pyramid Lake from Sutcliffe to Nixon, has been closed because large sections of the roadway were washed out by the storm.

NV Energy is reporting several power outages across Northern Nevada that have left more than 14,000 customers without power this morning. The largest outage is in the Incline Village area with approximately 5,000 customers in the dark. The outages reach as far south as Minden and Gardnerville.

Last night rain brought more flash flooding into Sparks. Sparks High School has been set up as a shelter if necessary. There are also two sandbag locations: Shadow Mountain Park, 3300 Sparks Blvd and Shelly Park, 2901 N Truckee Lane. Tuesday, city crews reopened all roads in the Sparks Industrial area. While streets are now open, please observe caution and reduce your speed as city crews continue to attend to debris, mud and maintenance issues in the area.
