City and County leaders in Oakland will vote Tuesday on a financial and development plan to build a $1.3 billion football stadium at the Coliseum site to keep the Raiders from moving to Las Vegas. Oakland's Mayor and other local leaders presented details Friday of the plan reached with the Ronnie Lott Group and Fortress Investment Group. The Raiders had no comment on the plan and owner Mark Davis says he is committed to moving to Las Vegas, where a $1.9 billion stadium project was approved by Nevada lawmakers in October.

Emergency workers and search dogs found the body of a missing skier at Mt Rose. Washoe County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bob Harmon says the man's body was found in about 10 feet of snow Sunday afternoon. Harmon says the skier's identity will be revealed by the Medical Examiner's Office.

A pedestrian who was jaywalking Saturday night in South Lake Tahoe when he was struck by a driver has died. South Lake Tahoe police are not releasing the name of the pedestrian. They said Peng Shao of San Jose, Calif., was driving a Toyota Prius west on Lake Tahoe Boulevard at about 35 to 40 mph and did not see the pedestrian, who police said was about 100 yards from a marked crosswalk at Lake Tahoe Boulevard and Carson Avenue.

A driver received medical attention after crashing into a Kietzke Lane sporting goods store this afternoon. Reno police say it happened around 3p.m. It appears there was a two-vehicle accident and then one of the vehicles continued on and crashed into the Mark, Fore & Strike at 490 Kietzke Lane.

Search and rescue crews have located the body of a 60 year-old skier who got trapped in an avalanche Saturday morning. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office first received the report around 10:15 a.m.on Saturday and began searching the area. Crews were were able to locate the body this afternoon. Mike Pierce with Mt. Rose says that two skiers, both 60 year-old men, had hiked up to a closed area called the the 'Jack Pot Chute' when an avalanche occurred. One of the two skiers got caught in the avalanche. The man's identification is being withheld.

The Washoe County School District wanst you to know that if your child turns 5 on, or before, September 30th, 2017, then it's time to sign them up for kindergarten for fall semester 2017.

Last night downtown Reno was filled with Santas, elves, reindeer, and other Christmas characters for the 16th annual Reno Santa Pub Crawl. The Reno Police Department estimated about 15,000 took part in the fun. The City of Reno's Community Service and Safety Team visited 60 businesses during the crawl and issued 5 citations during the event for alcohol cards and code enforcement violations. The Reno Police Department was also busy arresting 15 people for misdemeanors. The Regional Street Enforcement Team (SET) also conducted an underage drinking operation during the event. The following bars failed, serving alcohol to a minor and/or allowing the minor to remain in the business.

American Red Cross volunteers are assisting at least one person after a home fire near Mayberry Drive and South McCarran Blvd. Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers are meeting with the residents and will ensure everyone has a safe place to sleep and has food, clothing, medication and other essentials.
