Selvin Zecena-Valdez. He had been out on bail. Police say they started investigating in January 2015, when a case of Sex Assault of a Child Under 14 Years of Age was reported to them. The girl disclosed she had been assaulted several times by Zecena-Valdez over the course of three years. He was arrested and charged with multiple counts of Sexual Assault . Three days into a trial that started October 17th, he chose to testify on his own behalf, then didn't return to court on the 21st. Zecena-Valdez is Hispanic, 5’11” and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Officials with the Sierra County Sheriff's Office say seven-month-old Henry Massey and his mother 35-year-old Hannah Ruth Ashley were found at about three o'clock this afternoon in a remote area of Downieville. The incident began yesterday at about 8:30 in the town of Guerneville, where a woman told sheriff's deputies that her seven-month-old grandson, Henry Massey, was taken from his crib in her home.

A new study says Nevada has the second most overworked police forces in the nation, behind Michigan. On average, each member of the Nevada police force handled more than 23 property and violent crimes in 2014. That’s over 185,000 incidents that needed to be addressed to maintain the peace.
