Brett Black has turned himself in, after a warrant was issued for his arrest by Storey County. Black is accused of killing his wife, Judy Black in 2014, it was initially ruled an accident, but investigators decided this is a murder case.

A driver died last night in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 80 near Boomtown. The Nevada Highway Patrol says just after 11 p.m. a car with two occupants was heading west in the eastbound lanes on 80 on an overpass bridge near the Boomtown exit, when it hit a Chevy truck. The female driver was pronounced dead, and the male passenger was taken to a hospital. No word has been released regarding his condition. The male driver in the truck was extricated and transported to a hospital as well. There is also no word on his condition. No names have been released and the crash is still being investigated.

A Sparks man was one of two people sentenced in in California to 25 years to life for a gang-related murder last December in Salinas, California.
