Few details have been released about a shooting over the weekend in Reno. Reno police and the Regional Gang Unit are investigating a shooting that took place Saturday afternoon on the 2000 Block of Wedekind Road. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This shooting took place about 2 blocks from where 40 year old Roger Ratliff was shot and killed a week ago. Anyone with information is urged to call the Reno Police Department or Secret Witness 322-4900.

A teenage girl was stabbed over the weekend at the Sparks Marina after getting into an altercation. Sparks police say the 17-year-old girl isrecovering from non-life-threatening injuries. According to authorities, the alleged attack happened early Saturday morning. Police say she got into a fight with someone not known to her and she was stabbed with an unknown weapon. Detectives from the Carson City Sheriff's Office say a man who went missing 2 weeks ago has been found safe. 68-year-old Travis Barron left his wallet in his home and was known to suffer from health issues when friends reported him missing. Detectives aren't saying where he was found, but they say he is safe.

The Sparks Police Department is asking for the publics help to figure out who stabbed a teenager early this morning near the Sparks marina. They were called to the Renown Regional Medical Center at 3:45 a.m. because a 17-year-old girl was being treated for stab wounds. The girl claims to have been in a fight on the 300 block of Howard Drive, but had no information for police on the suspect or the weapon used . She was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.

The Reno Police Department is looking into a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash that occurred early this morning. Police responded at about 1a.m. to the intersection of Center and Maple streets, where officers discovered that a 51-year-old man had been struck by a vehicle. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. His name has not been released. The pedestrian was crossing Maple Street against a “don’t walk” signal, when he was hit by the vehicle traveling eastbound and that had a green traffic light.
