  • Jaida Rylance Tackles the Track at 15yo
It's always interesting to get the perspective of different ages and stages of life from the people who trek the Kokoda Track and this week I sat down wuth 15yo Jayda who is the youngest person I've had on the show. I really enjoyed chatting with Jayda and getting her perspective on the entire Kokoda experience.

  • Jay Walkerden - The Kokoda Super Nova
In 2015 Jay Walkerden took the majority of his team from Nova 106.9 across the Kokoda Track. This was Jay's second crossing of the track and I thought it would be interesting to chat around a boss taking their team away and what they hoped to achieve by this. As a part of that trip we did a documentary with Channel 7 and Nova 106.9 to raise money and awareness for Mates4Mates.org You can see that documentary here: KOKODA TRACK DOCO

  • Rob Vonk - A Life Changing Experience on the Kokoda Track
After 34 years in the Army walking the Kokoda Track was always going to have a special significance for Rob Vonk but there were some surprises in store on an emotional and physical level. Walking with his Daughter Gabby was something special and his fondest memory. This is easily my favourite episode to date because it really highlights the 'life changing' part that is so important on the Kokoda Track. I can't thank Rob enough for opening up and being so real about his journey. You will get so much from this episode as a result of his willingness to do so.
