Firstly, apologies - we weren't able to record in the studio this week, so you won't be seeing our faces on vid. On that note, we're back to the old school set up which thank the lord, didn't have any tech issues.
No surprises here, we're complaining about our lives, telling a few random stories and Steph recounts her wild, wonderful and weird trip to Lightning Ridge.
ENJOY.

We've been talking about having the legendary Tully Smyth on the podcast since we started #KOLIDEGOSS almost a year ago and we've FINALLY got her face-to-face in Sydney, post her second stint in the Big Brother House. We first met Tully on a work trip to Cambodia two years ago and we hit it off immediately (after 35 Margaritas and a hospital stay for Ella). The rest, as they say, is history and we've remained fast friends ever since.
She joins us to spill all the TEAAA BABY! We chatted about everything from Big Brother Round 2, adapting to the show's new format, the surprise of finding out her ex Drew would be in the house (and the drama that came with it), finding love with her beautiful partner Daniel and finally, living with the grief of losing a parent to dementia (a cause very close to our hearts). Tully has a big beautiful heart and she lives by the mantra "making lemonade out of lemons." We all need that vibe in our lives!
We hope you enjoy this chat.

ALOOOO LADS - this week we've got a few bits and bobs to cover. First up - our obsession with Love Island (we can't even begin to explain our sick crush on Luca), then we dive into Steph opening up about starting medication for her mental health, the re-appearance of Stacey on the weekend, trying to embark on a July reset and a migraine from hell.
Please note, that we are not health practitioners and all of our advice is based on our opinions. If you do want to explore options for your mental health, the first step is to chat with your GP.

This week we sit down with one of Ella's high school besties and GREAT friend of the pod, Miss Bella Clinton. Not only has she spent the last 8 or so years in the social media and content creation space - she has recently started her own business and is the ultimate QUEEN of Tik Tok. We have way too many lols over a tequila or two and she spills all the tea on working in the social space along with some very good advice if you're looking to go viral on our favourite app.
Strap in for a lol ladies.

Okay so we went to Melbourne for the weekend and WOWIE - we had some fun! Ella, myself and Ella's sister - Ruby (close friend of the pod) ventured into the cold for Ella's wedding dress fitting (gasp), some incredible food (see below), sister meltdowns and one hell of an airport brawl.
This was such a lol chat and we hope you enjoy.

Another fun but scattered episode as we unpack the week that was, talk about Steph's healing journey, her obsession with her new productivity book, SMART WORK, managing emotional reactivity, and a listener who sent in some amazing KOLIDE ADVICE for those who suffer from severe hangovers. YEW.

TRIGGER WARNING // This episode deals with issues around grief, terminal illness and loss. If this brings up any issues for you we have included some helpful links in the show notes.
APOLOGIES.
We have been on a two-week hiatus as I (Steph) recently lost my father, Ronnie to a very long battle with Dementia and Parkinson's. He fought until the very end and I know he would have wanted me to stop wallowing in my misery and get back into life. He always said a problem shared is a problem halved and we hope that we can share some insights on grief and loss with those who may also be struggling. Don't worry - there are also a few laughs in there.
This episode is dedicated to Ronnie, the man, the myth, the legend - "I have no doubt you’re sending it to hell and back up there and the boys won’t know what hit them when you arrive. Thank you for always making me laugh, for your beautiful soul and your generous spirit. We’ve lost one of the greats and I’d do anything to stare into those big blue eyes one more time. You were the life of the party and you never took anything too seriously. I loved that in your final years I could make you hysterically laugh just by saying “bing bong” - and that you told me I was beautiful even on the days I felt broken. Thank you for fighting the good fight - always with a cheeky smile on your face. You’re the kindest man I know and you’ve always protected our family. I’m so glad you can finally join your best friend Kevin and all your German shepherds, they’ve been waiting a while for you. Don’t get up too much mischief okay - God’s let you in despite your sins so take it easy on the big man! 10-4 good squire, I’ll carry you in my heart wherever I go."
