Louie Collins is not your average 24 year old. His life is coloured with bravado, humour, a sh*t tonne of good times and ultimately, success. It's rare to meet young people that are so hungry to evolve and learn. Growing up in a family of six kids, Louie has an innate ability to network (in a palatable form, not cringe) and from his younger years hosting many successful parties and events, he branched out into fashion founding his successful label, Five by Flynn. Louie knew nothing about design but he had the grit to learn anything and everything along the way The way he's spun his PR magic with event launches and shoots is a testament to the growth of this Aussie brand.

What we love about Louie? He's not afraid to ask for what he wants, always ready to PIVOT and of course, he knows how to have a time. We are honoured that our very first guest of 2022 is the absolutely hilarious TikTok Queen, Luisa Dal Din. Her dating and relationship skits are so hauntingly real that they can trigger those long lost memories from that time you chose to call that guy 68 times in a row on a night out or low key looked up the price of his Paddo terrace on RP data. This week we are joined by our favourite injectables nurse, Toby. We’ve been seeing Toby for about two years now and this stunning man brings so much light and energy to our lives - along with being known as the very best in the business at what he does. 

As always, we goss and lol about the bo bo we love so much but Toby has lived through some traumatic events that have shaped his life and most importantly, made him the beautiful soul that he is today.

Coming from a small coastal country town in Nowra, Toby left his family to live in Sydney to become an emergency / trauma nurse. His story is both heart breaking and beautiful, and we love how positive, happy and fucking funny he is despite it all.

He’s the kind of energy we all need before Christmas and as he quotes, “when life gives you lemons, do anal.” LOL.

We’ve dedicated today’s ep to Nurse Toby’s 94 year old Grandmother Dorine, who has stood by him through thick and thin. We love you Dorine.

Steph has always had a strange and unusual fascination with OCD, partly stemming from the envy that these people are organised, ordered and lead extremely successful and productive lives. While much of this narrative can be true, this is a disorder that should not be trivialised and what often goes unnoticed is the obsessive and intrusive thoughts, patterns and rituals that exist as a persistent and monotonous internal dialogue. These have been described by many as an all consuming and debilitating part of the illness.

This week on the pod we sit down with good friend, Harry Favetti who suffers from a more severe case of OCD as he talks us through everything from living with the disorder, being diagnosed, the rituals he must complete on a daily basis and the way it’s functioned as both a blessing and a curse in his life. Harry attributes many of the career successes he’s had from some of the patterns stemming from his OCD but the episode also sheds light on the unseen parts of his disorder which can be mentally taxing and draining. 

This ep isn’t all doom and gloom and we have a lot of laughs along the way, particularly as Harry reflects on growing up with 5 siblings and a bunch of mates who continually err on the side of mess and chaos.
