突然ですが、今回で最終回になります、この「こんなときのにほんご」。

なのでトピックも何もないのですが、今日は

「長い間ご愛好いただき、ありがとうございました！」

のフレーズを覚えて帰ってください！

ご愛好とは「ある物事を好んで楽しむ」という意味です。

似た日本語に「ご愛顧」があるのですが、こちらは金銭絡みがあり、かつ、よく面倒を見てもらったり特別に可愛がってもらったりする状況を指します。なので、取引先に使うもの、と認識しておくと良いでしょう。

さて、PODCAST「こんなときのにほんご」は、2020年4月から、なんと５年以上も地道に続いてきた番組です。毎週こんな形にしようか、それともこうしたほうが勉強になるかな、などと一人、色々と考えて配信を続けてきましたが、リスナーがほぼいなくなったため、これ以上続けても有益ではないと判断しました。

これまで、本当に、ご愛好ありがとうございました。

そして 私はこれからも、みなさんの日本語学習を応援しています！

Suddenly, this is the last edition of “こんなときのにほんご”.

There's no topic or anything, but today I’d like to learn that ‘長い間ご愛好いただき、ありがとうございました！’ phrase and go home with it!

“ご愛好” means “to like and enjoy a thing”.

A similar Japanese word is “ご愛顧”, but this refers to a situation where money is involved and where the person is well looked after or given special affection.It is worth recognising that the latter is used for business partners.

Now, PODCAST ‘こんなときのにほんご’ is a programme that has been running steadily for a whopping five years or more, since April 2020.

I have continued to distribute the weekly podcast on my own with a lot of thought, but as I have lost almost all of my listeners, I have decided that it would not be beneficial to continue any longer.

I will continue to support you in your Japanese language studies!

It would be great to meet you somewhere sometime!

答えは、「踊らされてる」です。

これは、他人が意図した通りに行動してしまったり、いいように操られたりしたことを表しています。あまり聞きたくはない言葉ですが、覚えておくと便利です！

英語だと、「I apologize for the inconvenience.」といったフレーズでいうそうです。

「お手数をおかけいたしますが、」は、相手に何かお願いをするときに手間や負担をかけることを先に謝罪する意味を含む定型文句です。ぜひ覚えておいてください。

In English, it is said, "I apologise for the inconvenience.

正解は２です。

「五月晴れ」は、もともと２の「梅雨の晴れ間」を意味しています。

今では「5月のすがすがしい晴れ」を指す言葉としても使われていて、わかりづらくなっていますが、元々の意味は知っておくといいかもしれません。

Which explanation is correct for ‘Satsukibare’? Please choose by number.

The Answer is 2.

The term ‘satukibare’ originally meant ‘a break in the rainy season’.

However, the term is now also used to refer to ‘crisp sunny weather in May’, making it difficult to understand. It may be worth knowing what it originally meant.

「犬も歩けば棒に当たる」は二つの意味があります。

文脈によって判断するしかないことわざなのでなかなか難しいですが、見つけたらどちらの意味かな？と考えてみてください。

日本のことわざには、動物がたくさん登場します。

・犬猿の仲

・馬の耳に念仏

・猿も木から落ちる

・二兎を追うものは一兎も得ず

などなど。

この「縁起」という言葉は、日本以外ではなかなか理解し難い言葉かもしれません。

実は、日本人でも、きちんと仏教的な意味を理解して使っている人は少ないのが現状です。

ここでは広く理解されている意味をお伝えします。

縁起とは、「吉凶の前兆」としての意味があります。

その「縁起」が「ない」ので、「縁起でもない」は、「良くないことが起こりそうな兆しや感じがあり、不吉であること」を指します。

試験などを控える人にとって、失敗するという意味を持つ「落ちる」や「滑る」という言葉はなるべく避けたい気持ちにもなります。口に出さないように気をつけると良いかもしれません。

In fact, few Japanese people use it with a proper understanding of its Buddhist meaning.

‘えんぎ’ is ‘ない’, so ‘えんぎがない’ refers to a sign or feeling that something bad is about to happen and is inauspicious.

For people preparing for exams and other activities, the words ‘おちる’ and ‘すべる’, which mean to fail, are also to be avoided as much as possible.It may be a good idea to be careful not to talk about it.
