Tampa got off to a slow start last night in Colorado, falling into a 2-0 deficit in the 1st period. The Lightning managed to climb back, but failed to complete the comeback, falling 3-2. Nikita Kucherov made his return after missing time on the Covid protocol list. Kucherov picked up where he left off by netting his sixth goal of the season.
