    Today’s episode tells the story of former Mbazi Commune, where when the Genocide against the Tutsi started, Hutu and Tutsi men joined hands to fight off the killers. This lasted until local leaders called on everyone to return to their homes. That night, killers targeted all Tutsis households and gathered all survivors at Byiza Stadium. The next morning, the stadium was attacked leading to the death of more than 7,800 Tutsis.

    L’épisode d’aujourd’hui raconte l’histoire de l’ancienne commune de Mbazi, où au début du génocide contre les Tutsi, les hutus et Tutsis se sont unis pour repousser les tueurs. Cela a duré jusqu'à ce que les dirigeants locaux conseillent à la population de retourner dans leur foyer. Le même soir, tous les survivants tutsis furent rassembler au stade de Byiza. L’attaque contre ce stade a commencé le lendemain matin et a duré jusqu'à la fin de l'après-midi, entraînant la mort de plus de 7 800 Tutsis.

Karangwa later fled to the Netherlands and has yet to be brought to justice.

En route pour Kabgayi, ils rencontrent le chef du Service national des enquêtes de la gendarmerie, le major Karangwa Pierre Claver, qui donne l’ordre que tous soient tués. Karangwa s'est ensuite éxilé aux Pays-Bas et n'a toujours pas été traduit en justice.
