    Three people, including two police officers, were hurt in a crash in North Philadelphia.
    It happened just after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 20th Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
    The police SUV collided with another vehicle.
    The officers are expected to be OK. We're working to learn how the other person is doing.

    A shooting in Hunting Park on Monday night prompted a large police response. It happened around 9 p.m.
    Investigators still haven't said exactly what happened along Broad Street, near Roosevelt Boulevard, or if anyone was killed or injured.
    Witness video captured at least three shots being fired.
    Broad Street was shut down for a time.

  • Mikie Sherrill to be sworn in as New Jersey's 57th governor
    Mikie Sherrill will be sworn in as New Jersey's next governor in a ceremony on Tuesday in Newark. She chose the New Jersey Performing Arts Center as the venue, rather than the statehouse in Trenton. It's the first time in nearly 30 years the inauguration ceremony will be outside of Trenton, back when the state's first female governor, Christine Todd Whitman, was sworn in.

  • Philly region preps for bone-chilling temperatures following weekend snowstorm
    After two rounds of snow over the weekend, snowfall totals ranged between an inch in the city to up to 5 inches in some parts of the Philadelphia region - and now, the National Weather Service expects the coldest weather of the winter, so far.
    And my, a bitter cold is settling in, with Real Feel temps in the single digits tonight and tomorrow night, as frosty air from the Arctic and northern Canada sends brutally cold winds our way.

  • Gov. Murphy signs e-bike safety bill into law, enacting some of the nation's toughest regulations
    New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed legislation on Monday that enacts some of the nation's toughest regulations on e-bikes.
    The bill updates the regulation, licensing, classification and training requirements for e-bikes.
    It expands the types of bicycles that are regulated as motorized bicycles to cover all forms of e-bikes, not just existing requirements for Class 3 E-bikes, which are more powerful and faster.
    The action comes in the wake of numerous accidents involving electric bikes. e-bike owners have one year to meet requirements.

  • 2 men charged with murder in connection with violent 2016 home invasion
    Two men have been arrested and charged with murder and related offenses in connection with an unsolved killing nearly 10 years ago in Pemberton, New Jersey.
    The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office says 45-year-old Kevin D’Costa and 32-year-old Daemen Hodge shot and killed Norman Mosley during a home invasion in September 2016.
    Investigators say advancements in DNA testing technology have helped match the pair with evidence from the scene.
    D’Costa was already in jail for an unrelated crime, and Hodge was arrested at his girlfriend’s house in Bordentown and is awaiting a detention hearing.
