KZMU News spoke with Luke about his coverage, and whether despair or hope rules the day when it comes to water in the West.

When you take a shower, wash the dishes, or do anything else that might require a drain, where does all that material go? Every flush in the Moab Valley now makes its way through the sewer system to a brand new, $14.5 million wastewater reclamation facility. With the new facility, officials say Moab's waste is now putting much less pressure on the Colorado River and using remarkably less potable water. Chief operator Greg Fosse took KZMU News on a tour of the new place.
