El Mecanismo de Esclarecimiento Histórico de México acaba de publicar un informe de cerca de 5.000 páginas con más de 1.000 testimonios sobre lo qué pasó en México entre 1965 y 1990. Es el resultado de una comisión creada por el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador en 2021. El título, 'Fue el Estado', hace referencia a las vulneraciones de Derechos Humanos contra los sectores más desprotegidos y repasa la política de contrainsurgencia impulsada por los Gobiernos de entonces y aplicada por los militares. A la par, la búsqueda de la verdad trata de ser un ejercicio de justicia y catarsis para las víctimas.

Una contienda marcada por la crisis económica y energética de la isla, la alta emigración, así como una pobreza en torno al 40%. El presidente de Letonia, Edgars Rinkevics, habló con France 24 sobre los retos de Occidente ante la guerra en Ucrania y del papel que debe asumir Europa en la OTAN en medio de este conflicto. En una entrevista concedida a France 24, el ex primer ministro israelí Ehud Olmert afirma que el actual mandatario, Benjamin Netanyahu, es el responsable principal de la devastadora muerte de otros seis rehenes en Gaza. Israel defiende que los seis rehenes fueron "brutalmente asesinados por terroristas de Hamás".
