I had a very special guest, Ann Foster, host of Vulgar History Pod, on to talk about King George III and Queen Charlotte's family. The relationships, the history, and what it triggered in future generations.

For the first episode of 2025, we’re stuck in the present, and a bit of the past.

We begin discussing the launch of Meghan's Instagram, and new show. From how long this Instagram has been into the works, to what 'With Love, Meghan' is rooted in and what I’m hoping to see. I haven’t felt this hopeful since 2008 and Obama was synonymous with the word.

I also take us back to 2024, for an article by the Sunday Times on the Royal PR round-up for 2024. With it being almost a year after photogate, I can't help but look into the PR talking points that the Wales are sticking too, and how they've grown.

We’re back! 

Despite a couple months of a slow news cycle, the royals came in fierce the last couple weeks with news. We’ve got a banana article by Alex’s problematic fave, Tom Sykes, thanks to William’s friends who have some interesting takes on the Sussex’s Colombia tour. Robert Jobson’s new book about Kate, which, ‘….makes his role as an impartial biographer rather suspect.’ Not my words, but Alexander Larman, from The Sunday Times. The Sussex’s Colombia tour, and all things tour fashion.

We deep-dived in a serious topic, the attack, then racist riots that followed, that happened in the UK in the beginning of August. Which was followed by a response from King Charles that took some pressure. We discuss if it’s up to par, and if it really showcases the modern and diverse monarchy, we’ve been told he and William strive to be. 

Along with some more things, we covered our bases for a packed episode of all thing's royals.

This week’s episode we had the fabulous Meghan Ely, a PR and public relations expert and long-time royal fan on to discuss the last month of PR blunders from KP.

Not only did we dig deep on how KP lost the plot, but had some confessions about H&M’s own comms blunders. As Tamra Judge would say: IT’S MY OPINION.

This was pre Kate announcing she has cancer, so we don’t discuss that topic in this episode- nor regret anything said.
