This is a signature gulzar poem .. it was a random thought to recite and record this today morning .. if I talk about this one poem i can go on talking for hours .. the crux is .. THIS IS THE STORY OF EVERY POET .. OR EVERY ARTIST .. ONE HAS TO DIE EVERYTIME ONE CREATES SOME STUFF .. A POEM OR A PAINTING PERHAPS .. This poem is written by Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar ( who is a blessed multi-talented artist .. an amazing writer , director and sometimes even an actor ) . The rhythm is attractive . The words and thoughts are so blunt and that is what I find outstanding ( and this is the only reason I've recited this poem and included it in my podcast ) . The image used was shared by a beloved friend . Just see how attentively the girl looks at the boy when he is reading for her . This is the best relationship two people can have on this planet ( i.e a writer and a listener ) .

Poet : Qateel Shifaai . This one poem depicts the frustration of a poet . What is to be published and not to be published is decided by the publisher ( who are idiots with no poetic sense ) . In this poem the poet feels sorry for his beloved ( or the thoughts/pain of his beloved ) . These poems are actually the token of his beloved's thoughts/pain which will never get published and will ultimately get lost in dust . Happy listening :)

Debasmita is undoubtedly the most talented singer whom I've known over years .. this ghazal of Ghalib is just another proof of this .. very few artists have this ability to capture the mood of the listener .. Debasmita is one of them .. this is one ghazal which I always wanted her to sing .. and it definitely suits her style of singing ..

Shaayad kisi ke hijr mein .. yaa kisi ke intezaar mein shaayad .. ek cigarette liye balcony mein baitha hun .. shaam qatra qatra tapak rahi hai .. chaand ki athanni door ufaq par dikhaai pad rahi hai .. Kaifi Azmi ki ye nazm .. aap iska recitation sunte sunte ye imagine kar sakte hain ki koi naya naya aashiq apne kamre mein raat letkar chhat ko takk raha hai .. chhat ke slate par ye saare lafz dheere dheere ubhar rahe hain .. inhe kal subah woh ek safed kaaghaz par likh kar apni class mein padhne waali us ek ladki ko dene waala jo usko behadd haseen lagti hai ~ Abhishek :)

Qateel Shifaai ki ek khoobsurat nazm .. Diwali ki raat shaayad likh rhe honge .. sabka hijr ek saa .. tamaam dard ek se .. main aksar sochta hun ki duniya mein har ek shakhs ke guzaare intezaar ko jodkar kitna bada waqt ka tukda banaaya jaa sakta hai .. jo khala mein saans lete kisi black hole se zyaada bohot zyaada bada hoga .

Irshad Kamil ki ek nanhi nazm jo kuchh waqt pehle Facebook par padhi maine .. behad khoobsurat nazm .. ek likhne waale ke depression ko kitna saaf saaf keh rahi hai .. subah ke 3 baje ye nazm record ki .. is ummeed mein ki ye nazm door bohot door baithe ek shakhs tak pohoche .. aur uske khayaal mein ek naya rang bankar utar jaaye :)
