場末の酒場で、二人の男が言い争っていた。

二人は強盗団の仲間で、分前のことで揉めていたのだ。

埒が明かないので、二人は店の外へ出たところで、もうひとり仲間が来て、警察の取り締まりがあるという。

言い争っていた清は一人、逃げることにした。

Two men were arguing in a bar at the end of the street.

They were fellow robbers, and were arguing about a minute ago.

When they couldn't come to an agreement, they went out of the bar, when another fellow came and told them that the police were cracking down on them.

Kiyoshi, who had been arguing with them, decided to run away alone.
