連れ合いを亡くしたばかりの老婆が暮らしていた。

孫娘は不用心だから一緒に暮らそうと乞う。老婆も四十九日が終わったら、と了承した。

墓参りから帰ってくると、家に団子がある。誰が持ってきたかわからない。

あとで食べようと夕飯を済まし、さて寝ようと準備をしていると、雨戸を叩くものがあった。

There lived an old woman who had just lost her companion.

Her granddaughter and her husband were not careful and asked her to live with them. The old woman agreed to live with her after the 49th day.

When she came back from visiting the grave, she found dumplings in the house. I don't know who brought them.

As I was getting ready to go to bed, there was a knock on the storm door.
