昔、関東を治めていた殿様が重い病にかかりました。

秩父にいる家来は、三峯山の法師に守札と薬をお願いしました。

法師は7日待って欲しいといい、家来は8日目までには整えてください、とお願いしました。

法師は、1日2回の祈祷をして守札を、昼間は山々を巡って薬草を揃えました。

8日目に守札と薬草が家来のもとに届きましたが、誰が届けるか、と思案しました。

その時、秩父の速（HAYA）という部下が申し出ました。

速（HAYA）には、鬼カゲという名馬があり、また本人も脚が速いことで有名でした。

A long time ago, a lord who ruled the Kanto region became seriously ill.

His retainer in Chichibu asked a priest in Sambu Mountain for a talisman and medicine.

The priest prayed twice a day for the talismans, and during the daytime he went around the mountains to prepare medicinal herbs.

On the eighth day, the guardian cards and medicinal herbs arrived at the retainer's place, and he wondered who would deliver them.

At that time, a subordinate named HAYA from Chichibu offered to deliver them.

HAYA had a famous horse, Onikage, and was also famous for his fast legs.
