茗荷

客の少ない宿の主人が考えた。

「釈迦の弟子、槃特は忘れっぽくて有名で、その墓に生えてきた茗荷を食べると忘れっぽくなるという。

　客に茗荷を食わせて、荷物を忘れさせてしまえば、これは儲かるぞ」

Myoga

The owner of an inn with few guests thought of this.

The owner of the inn, who had few guests, thought to himself, "Buddha's disciple, Bhaktivedanta, was famous for his forgetfulness, and it is said that eating the myoga that grew on his grave makes people less forgetful.

　If we can get the guests to forget their luggage by feeding them myoga, we can make a lot of money.
