古代アッシリアの 図書館で「文字の 精霊」の はなし声が するという噂がたち、大王が老博士に調べさせました。

博士は、粘土板に刻まれた線の集まりが、精霊の力によって音声と意味をもつ ように なることを突き止めました。

そして、この 精霊の力が、社会の隅々に行き渡って、人間を衰えさせ、歴史を歪めていることを見抜きました。
