春の夜、保吉は三人の友だちと共に日本橋の魚河岸を歩いていた。

そのうち、魚河岸の終わりまで来て、評判の洋食屋を見つけた。

4人は洋食屋に入って、酒の続きをやっていると、見るからに風体の悪い横柄な男が入ってきた。

On a spring night, Yasukichi and his three friends were walking along the fish market in Nihonbashi.

When they reached the end of the fish market, they found a Western-style restaurant with a good reputation.

The four of them entered the Western-style restaurant and were continuing their drinking when an arrogant man with a bad appearance came in.
