love

I loved how determined the main characters were in their endever for each other and there delema

Fun book!

While the story was not deep or intense it was fun to listen to. Enjoyed the characters and wished for a little more from them. Too short.

Not the best

This book was not like some of Nora Roberts other novellas. It wasn't bad per se but I did have an issue with the main characters telling each other they loved each other after meeting three times for a grand total of about 20 minutes. I know this is a romance novel but come on.

Wolf Moon

This one of Nora Roberts' paranormal book. I love how it is another love can prevail. This isn't like her other books but well worth a listen.

Emily Foster did very good job with performance.

I would recommend this to anyone.

She assumes one time with Ander will be enough, but she never dreams how much pleasure he can make her feel. Once isn't nearly enough. Twice isn't enough either. Soon, she becomes one of his regular clients. Lori knows that nothing would be as foolish as falling in love with her paid escort, but she's never been wise with her heart.

And, despite his professionalism, Ander doesn't seem entirely immune either.

Members Reviews:

FROM JUST BUSINESS TO AN INTENSE BEAUTIFUL ROMANCE

I really loved this story, yes it was probably unrealistic but it felt so real, and I loved the slowly developing beautiful love story that evolved and ended in a memorable tearjerker of an ending. Lori, a successful romance writer was embarrassed that she was still a virgin at 26 so she decided to rid herself of the problem once and for all and then she thought she wouldn't be embarrassed and instead she would feel experienced enough to get physical when on dates. She decided to hire a male escort and chose Ander but she wasn't prepared for the handsome, charismatic, sexy, quiet and reserved man who knocked on her door.... and once was never going to be enough.

There was a lot of sex (not kinky) but, as Lori and Ander slowly got to know each other, Lori could see behind his professional face to the man that was desperately trying to get out. Their relationship spanned months, months of tender looks and the cracking facade that Ander carefully erected slowly began to come down. There were secrets, a bit of angst, heartache but out of it all came a beautiful romantic love story when they both finally let their feelings out.

The whole story was mainly focused around them and the characterization of Lori and Ander was amazing because you really felt for both of them and they were both intense, driven, strong, very vulnerable and loveable characters. Ander had to be a good actor for his profession but with Lori there was never any acting - everything was real. Told from Lori's POV and the narrator did a great job.

Worth a credit? As I said before, this is unrealistic, escapism, pure erotic fiction, but some of the best books are and oh how I enjoyed the journey.... a journey that I didn't want to stop and one that will stay with me. So creditworthy.... Hell Yeah!

not a new concept but a fun listen!

i needed something to listen to in between a long historical fiction book series and this did the trick. it's not a difficult read and you can easily get swept away with it. normally i don't listen to books unless i'm working but i couldn't put this one down.

Ok

It was cute but I felt like half the book was missing since it was told entirely from her perspective.

A good love story with hot sex.

I listened to it twice now! Really loved it! A good story and hot sex.

Back to basics

If you need some instructions, this virgin story will give you the basics....

Is forgiveness an option?

Would you listen to Secret Seduction again? Why?

Yes. I was drawn into the story from the beginning.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Secret Seduction?

I don't think there was just one. Jason's rescues of Katie was so believable. I felt I was right there cheering them on.

What about Charles Lawrences performance did you like?

I was drawn into the story from the beginning, most of it was the book itself but another part was Charles performance. He made you want more when the book ended.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. In fact I did.

There are some audio issues

There are few audio issue with repeating or Langs little. Over I liking the series

good book

plenty of stuff going on to keep you captivated and intrigued. the ending though leaves you with questions. will be interesting to see if the second book can be a stand alone

Who is trying to kidnap her?

Katie and Jason have been friends since they were kids, when he saved her life. She has always wanted more than just friendship with Jason, but he didn't seem inclined to change things. Just as she was trying to tell him how she felt, her world was turned upside down and she left the US and went on a year long "vacation" across Europe. When he finally is ready to let her know that he has been following her around, she is being kidnapped. They start to make their way to Italy and have to dodge kidnappers along the way. They need to find out who is behind the kidnapping attempts.

Fun, with a little romance, a little suspense

I enjoyed this book. I thought the tempo was perfect, enough detail to paint a picture, but not so much as to stop movement of the story.

I really like the location of the book. Having not been there myself (leaving out spoilers), I thought the descriptions were lovely and made me want to travel.

I like an easy listen (or read) and a good story with a happy ending is right up my alley! I can't wait to read or listen to the rest of the series.

Fall to You is the second book in the Here and Now series. It is not a stand-alone and is intended to be listened to following Lost in Me. Hanna's story concludes in book three, All for This.

Members Reviews:

Confusing and Redundant

Someone said that you had to listen to each book in sequence. The first 1/4 of this book was a repeat of the first book. Where I could tell what was happening in the first book even though the author jumped around with the story, I had a bit of trouble in the second book. Where I was excited for Hanna to make a choice in the her life partner in the first book, by the end of book 2, I was over it. I agree this worked okay with two books, it could easily have been done in one book.

Good grief, it's good.

Romance, heart break and what to do about a wedding. Take the plunge and get this book.

I want Nate!!!!!

It's all good but Hanna really pisses me off! I'm a one man woman so I hate most of the book but love it at the same time! #teamNate

SERIOULSY!

Too many emotions happening right now. I have a love / hate relationship with Hannah

can't even talk....on to book 3!!

Such Insights with the Three Different Viewpts

This is one awesome series! Lexi Ryan is an amazing storyteller who understood exactly what her readers needed in Book 2 of the Here and Now Series. Lost in Me ended with many unanswered questions, and Lexi uncovers a lot of the missing pieces in Fall to You. Switching between before and after Hannas accident, readers get three different perspectives in order to understand how everything played out between Hanna, Max, and Nate and where things will head now that some of the truths are revealed.

Heading into Book 3, there are still a few questions that remain unanswered, and theres no way to tell if Hanna or readers will ever learn those truths. What I do know is that Hanna has a difficult decision to make, and, at this point, theres no clear cut winner. When its all said and done, someone is going to be the odd man out, and its going to hurt like hell to experience it through their eyes.

Piper, once again, does a fantastic job of expressing all of Hanna's frustrations and hurt.

Noah & Adelaide!

Absolutely loved this story! One of the best I've read in the Whiskey Creek series!

I love series!

This is a great read as a stand alone but when I found out it was a series I quickly got out Audible and sought out the other books. When reading a series you have time to learn about the people featured and make them friends.

Took me a while

It took me a while to get into in it but then it got better--narrator did not help. I was hoping that they would go back to Amy Rubinate as the narrator. I still will read the next in the series--want to know what happened to the others in the group.

Love the series

Great series. Leaves me wanting more. The reader let her voice too much for effect and I missed a fair amount. Please don't do that.

GREAT STORY ~~ SUBPAR NARRATION!!!!!!!!!!

This is my 4th listen in the series. I've enjoyed all the stories AND the narration until this one. The story was equal to all the others but the narration was terrible. Carly Robins made many of the voices sound like small children rather than mature adults. I truly struggled to get through the book. Now I realize to my dismay, THE REST of the stories in the series are narrated by Carly Robins as well. I'm TERRIBLY disappointed. I'm going to take a break and come back another time to see if I can get through the next book. Brenda Novak is one of my favorite authors but she needs to have more input on who does her narrations in the future. As good as stories can be...they can die on the vine based on the narrator.

Loved SONG OF THE WEST

Wonderfully written. Loved the story, and have always been fascinated by the deep rich timbre of Joyce Bean's voicing of the different characters. And her range!! She lends so much in bringing out just what the story needs.

Male interpretation

The readers make voice ruined it. It sounded like she was trying to sound like an old lady. Not romantic

Boring for NR!

Besides a dull (not awful) story, the narrator's voice of the male lead sounds like he's 80 so it was difficult to picture a young woman attracted to him.

Lovely romance

Nora Roberts is just wonderful! She never fails to delight with her books. I highly recommend this light love story. Both hero and heroine are really strong characters. Nice balance of humour throughout story.

Joyful Easy Listen

This was a short easy fun listen. I enjoyed it and recommend it for one of Noras good ones !!

Title: All He Wants

Author: C. C. Gibbs

Narrator: Elena Wolfe

Format: Unabridged

Length: 10 hrs and 14 mins

Language: English

Release date: 09-04-14

Publisher: Hachette Audio

Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 341 votes

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

Brilliant. Wealthy. Powerful. Dominic Knight is one of the hottest tech developers in the world - and the most demanding lover Kate Hart has ever known. Whether in the boardroom or the bedroom, he is always in charge. But there is one thing he cannot control: Kate's fiery heart...

As a master in her field, talented Kate surpassed Dominic's wildest expectations. As a woman of uncommon intelligence and beauty, she unlocked something deep within him. Yet since their professional relationship - and erotically charged affair - came to an end, the fire in him has only grown stronger.

Now, the man who has everything will do whatever it takes to reclaim the woman he lost. From Boston and Paris to Singapore and San Francisco, he will lure Kate back into his elite world of privilege and passion. Together, they will test the limits of desire and the boundaries of discipline. For both, this is uncharted territory - naked, reckless, and uninhibited. But when Dominic's deadliest enemies target Kate, he must face his darkest fears...and admit to himself that she is all he needs.

Members Reviews:

INTELLIGENT AND EROTIC

It was so refreshing to read about intelligent leads. I loved the expression, vocabulary and intelligent (not just witty) conversations and banter between Dominic Knight & Kate Hart. Dominic is a self-made billionaire and master of his universe, that being a global tech empire. He is a man who always gets what he wants and does not accept "no" as an answer from anyone. And, with Kate, he is relentless but smoothly so, and let me say, I love a powerful man in pursuit! I was also happy to find such a strong heroine in Kate, who has these mad skills in cyber-forensic accounting. The description of her work in her perspective was actually enthralling, as she described her work as giving her an adrenaline rush. Perhaps, that is how she connects with Dominic, as they both are thrill seekers.

This author is really good and I enjoyed her style of writing. It's written with an omniscient narrator which reminded me of Tolstoy's style of writing in Anna Karenina. It was interesting to get the perspective of surrounding characters, especially in Dominic's life, showcasing how different his pursuit of Kate was. Initially, Kate was largely aversive to Dominic's domineering approach, but you got to see Dominic soften and bend to win Kate over, and win her over he did!--At least in the bedroom. For that reason, there is a lot of sex. The plot builds mainly around two strong personalities trying to meld together.

The only time this book got tedious was when Dominic and Kate were moving from "vanilla" to "kinky" in the bedroom. Kate was almost ridiculous in her argumentative nature toward Dominic. It was actually tiring because she had this green light/red light thing going on with Dominic. It was "yes," then it was "no"--her signals were all screwed up. It was almost manipulative on her part. Anyhow, as seems to be the pattern in trilogies, this one doesn't end well. So it's on to the next book to find out how Dominic is going to get Kate back!

Regarding the narrator, Elena Wolfe, she performed masterfully. I loved her sweet voice for Kate, and she did a good job with the masculine voices, as well.

Instant Love

Katherine "Kate" Hart is a 22 year old MIT graduate. She is a forensic accountant and an IT guru.
