Larry Gerston: State workers could get holiday pay for Juneteenth next year
A measure that would make Juneteenth a paid holiday for state workers has passed in the state Assembly and now heads to the Senate. If it passes there, and the Governor signs it, next year would be the first year state workers would get that paid holiday.
