Deer season is officially over. We recap the year all the way from Garrett killing his first bull Elk, to the Nebraska Mule Deer trip. There are a ton of things to be thankful for, and we cover all of them. We set our goals for 2021, and reflect on our goals from 2020. We cover a hunt Garrett will be doing on some Colorado public land with our buddy Shane this week, and how the end of whitetail season faired for the team. Over the course of the last 3 years, we have become extremely close with our friends Ryan and Cody at the Whitetail Legacy Podcast. In this podcast, we cover what led to us joining forces moving forward, and why we wanted to do this.

There are certain people in life that lift you up rather than tear you down. In the outdoor industry, those people are hard to find, which is why we are so excited to have them join our team!

Last night, we went on our 1st saddle hunt and punched a tag! We talk about the rookie perspective on saddle hunting, things we noticed from practicing in the yard, and how those things translated into hunting. We cover: the integral parts of a saddle, opinions on tree size, how it effects your ability to draw your bow, ease of use, advantages, disadvantages, and everything we could think of centered around the saddle. If you are someone who is starting hunting and are thinking about the saddle, this might be one to listen to.

Ever since I hunted Nebraska the first time for mule deer, I have wanted to go back. I convinced my friend Jake to go with earlier in the month, and after about 10 days of scouring maps, talking to friends that live out there, and talking 3-5 times daily ourselves, we took off. This episode is the story of our trip, and how we came back to Illinois with 2 muley bucks, a whitetail buck, and a coyote! Thanks as always for listening!!
