  • MnM Hockey Podcast - NHL Week Review
The guys are back after a week off with lots to talk about. Alex and Chace do an NHL Week Review. Looking at everything that has happened over the past 7-10 days. They start off with the Pekka Rinne and Yanni Gourde signings. Alex and Chace talk about the fact that they liked one and disliked the other.
After that, they switch to the coach firings. They look at why it wasn't the coaches fault by any means in either situation. They also talk about where they want to see Joel Quenneville end up next. Debating multiple different teams and why he may be a good fit.
From there they switch to two teams that are overperforming and may crash down to reality. Tune in to see which teams those are and whether or not you agree with Alex and Chace's case. From there, Alex says there is a very surprising good team that may stay good this season.
They then switch to the Uber ride that was all over the news with the Senators this week. Talking about how both sides are at blame in both the players and coaches, as well as the media and team. Alex believes the whole thing has been blown out of proportion because it is the Senators. What do you think?
Finally, the guys touch on the William Nylander situation. With reports that he could be traded they look at why that would still be a bad idea. They look at possible destinations and Chace decides he doesn't like any of them. Tune in for all of this and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!

Last Word on Habs Pod: Curious Case of Carey Price
This week's episode takes a look back at the Habs busy week. The Habs showed some character in a couple of come from behind wins. They also showed a lot of defensive liabilities during the weeks as well.
The main part of the episode has Johannes and Connor discussing the curious case of Carey Price. Johannes is no longer sure that Price can find his form again. Connor thinks the defensive breakdowns are causing him to over think. Either way, the Habs are going to need Price back if they want to build off their strong start.
The also curious case of Tomas Plekanec's retirement comes up. Both hosts feel like it was rushed and that Plekanec was pushed out by the team. Either way, it seems he deserved more of a send-off than what the Canadiens provided.
All this and Max Pacioretty returns, Habs miss out on a genius marketing opportunity because of an injury, single parent appreciation and much much more. And of course, Lets We Forget.

Last Word on Habs Pod: We're Not There Yet
This week on the Last Word on Habs Pod, Connor and Johannes again dive into their respective weather situations. Moving to hockey, the Habs had a down week. Despite their exciting win over Washington, the Habs dropped two of three. Connor thinks that the Habs are looking to model themselves after Tampa Bay and got a dose of reality in terms of how far away they are from that. Johannes celebrates the Habs energy level in games but laments their execution.
Steaming off of Johannes' issue with the Canadiens execution, the boys discuss the failings on the power play. Is there someone sitting out that could help it? Hint: Probably. With Nikita Scherbak sent for a conditioning assignment in Laval, are his days with the Habs numbered?
All this and penalty shot reform, marriage, winners and losers, next week's picks and much, much more.

  • Video Games 2 the MAX #195: Diablo Immortal Backlash, Red Dead Redemption 2, Smash Ultimate Direct
On this episode of Video Games 2 the MAX, Sean Garmer and Marc Morrison return from a very much unintended layoff to discuss some of the big news and recently released games. The guys change things up this time around talking the news first. Sean and Marc discuss the huge backlash from Blizzard fans after the Diablo Immortal mobile game was announced at Blizzcon 2018. Is the hate justified? Or is this another case of entitlement in the community? Is mobile gaming truly the devil? The guys also rundown what was announced at the final Smash Ultimate Direct. They talk the final new additions to the roster. The announcement of a Fighter Season Pass. A big story mode "World of Light," Spirts, and more. The guys also discuss the highs and lows of the full PlayStation Classic lineup. Are there some big misses? Did remasters, remakes, and ports hurt what could have been a sold first try for Sony? Or is this what we expected all along? There's also Netflix's Castlevania getting a Season 3, Penny Dreadful getting a sequel series at Showtime, news on the Witcher Netflix series, Sonic Team Racing delayed, and a few other things too. Finally, Marc talks a lot about Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2. He also gives a little info on Diablo 3: Eternal Collection on Nintendo Switch too. While Sean talks My Hero Academia: One Justice and an indie game called Minit that released earlier this year.
