I the most recent episode of the Royal Road: A Hockey Podcast, Oscar is joined by a good friend. He would prefer to remain anonymous, so he will be going by Lion (@Lionheart0130). Oscar and Lion discuss the most recent events that ended up leading to the multitude of fights in the Rangers/Capitals game, and why the Department of Player Safety (DoPS) should have suspended Tom Wilson.
Secondly, the guys briefly discuss Connor McDavid and the insane season he's been having. Finally, they get into who the biggest surprises and disappointments have been this season. This includes teams we thought would do well, and didn't as well as players. We also looked at who took a step forward that we didn't expect.

Alex and Chace are back with a loaded week of content. For starters, they spend a bulk of the podcast discussing everything that has surrounded the Tom Wilson incident with the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers. They look at the play and what happened to start. After, they switch to the department of player safety and their overall poor performance. From there, they switch to the New York Rangers side of things and how they handled it.
Starting by discussing the game that happened after and why the fights were avoidable, to looking at and dissecting the statement the team made. Next, the guys discuss just how much credit should Jeff Gorton get for building this team?
Finally, they switch to a much lighter topic. Andrew Berkshire joins Alex and Chace as the three talk about the Montreal Canadiens and their season so far. What has gone wrong, right, and why they are exactly where they thought they might be. As well as the impact that Cole Caufield has had, plus what is going on with Carey Price again.

In the first episode of The Royal Road: A Hockey Podcast Oscar is joined by fellow Leafs beat writer at LWOS, Josh Erickson (@JoshLwoh). With two Leafs beat writers, it makes sense that the episode would start off with some Leafs discussion. Josh and Oscar talk about the Toronto Maple Leafs goaltending moving into the playoffs. Who should the Leafs feel confident with moving into the first-round matchup?
They then discuss the Calder Trophy race between Kaprizov and Robertson, and any potential dark horse candidates. This includes who they think should come in third for Calder voting. Josh and Oscar then chat about Patrick Marleau breaking the NHL games played record, and some bad takes on Twitter regarding the record.
Finally, the two jump into a deep discussion about acquiring a player that fits your team vs the most skilled player on the market. This discussion stems from the decision to acquire Nick Foligno over, say, a Taylor Hall type player.

Alex is back with another episode of the Last Word on Sens Podcast! Today, he has Tyler Ray joining him. The two take a look at the last few weeks as the Ottawa Senators season comes to an end shortly. Discussing what they have seen out of Victor Mete, Shane Pinto, and whether or not it makes sense to sit Jacob Bernard-Docker. Alex mentions how nice it has been to watch all three defensemen on the left side have a successful game, and be confident of all of the players out there.
From there, they switch to goaltending and discuss what Matt Murray has to do next year to get back on track. As well as discussing why it looks like Marcus Hogberg is at the end of his time in Ottawa. Finally, they talk about what they want to see going into the offseason. Any additions they should make and what to expect next season. Tune in for all of this and more, with the Last Word on Sens Podcast!

After a disappointing week, the Habs seemed to find their stride. And at the right time. While far from perfect, the Habs found ways to get the job done and that is all that matters at this time. Interestingly, the Habs better play has come while some key players are out injured.
Jonathan Drouin has taken a leave of absence from the team for personal reasons. It's irresponsible to guess what the issue is, but both guys wish him well. Tomas Tatar, Shea Weber and Paul Byron have also joined Carey Price and Brendan Gallagher on the injury list. For whatever reason, the Habs have looked much fresher in their last two games with all the injuries.
All this and Cole Caufield scores, a changing of the guard, Nick Suzuki finds his scoring touch, scoreboard watching, and much much more!
TUNE IN!

The guys are back with another week of content to discuss. To start, they look at Connor McDavid and his insane run. Alex highlights the potential that he hits 100 points in a 56 game season. A feat that is pretty incredible to even think about. They discuss just how good he is and why in their opinion he has to be the unanimous Hart winner this season. Even Chace agrees that although goalies usually deserve the award, this is the most clear-cut case in a very long time.
They also give their lists for the top 10 teams they feel are most likely to win the NHL Stanley Cup. For this, they base it off the divisions the teams play in, what they have looked like lately, and overall feeling for how they'd place the odds. Discussing teams like the Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Colorado Avalanche. As well as how major it would be for the Carolina Hurricanes to win the division this season. Tune in for all of this and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!
