Last Word on Habs Pod: Montreal Canadiens Plans for Jesperi Kotkaniemi
On this week's episode, the guys discuss the Jesperi Kotkaniemi situation. With the young Finn's going on the mend, he should now return to action for the Habs. The question is, how will coach Claude Julien use him. Should he be sent to the minors? Should he be scratched for some games?
The guys also discuss the Canadiens defensive woes. These issues are nothing new as the Habs struggled defensively last year, perhaps its time for something to change. While the roster has changed somewhat, Connor thinks it's time for Claude Julien to play a system that works best for the players on his team, rather than forcing them to play a system they are not comfortable playing.
Johannes has some strong feelings about the Habs play this week. Despite picking up five of six points, there were some troubling trends. Especially in the 3-2 win over the lowly Kings.
All this and winners and losers, Don Cherry musings, Rememberance and Veterans day and much much more. Tune in!
