"The Hollywood bowl has always been one of my favorite places for their wonderful atmosphere and fabulous concerts. And one night they had the Playboy club jazz festival at the Hollywood bowl. And my boyfriend at the time, a young black man, loved jazz, had favorites. One of them was Dizzy Gillespie. And Dizzy was headlighting one of the nights at the Playboy festival. And I suggested to him that we get tickets and go. Thought that would be something we could share."

"Now, I'm pretty sure that these are the tallest buildings in the state of California that are not in downtown LA or downtown San Francisco. They are enormous, right? We're talking somewhere in the neighborhood of, I believe, 50 to 60 stories each. And I have this normal routine when I get to this building where I check in with the security, as everybody does."

"So I looked at his Instagram account, and it was his real account, and I was like, this still can't be real. Somebody hacked his account, and it's a fake person. I did not believe it was this person. I just did not. And then I kind of started to, and I was like, this is weird. This is definitely strange. But I thought it was cool."

"And it's funny how after that dream, I made the decision to up and move to Los Angeles. And I typed in, of course, before I did that, I typed in Craigslist, Los Angeles, not looking for anyone in their 20s, early twenty s. "I have met a lot of celebrities in LA, but I'm gonna choose this story because it's the most embarrassing. And I figure if I'll do this and maybe some of you will feel okay about telling embarrassing stories in general because they're always really good stories. This isn't that fantastical or amazing, but I was so embarrassed. I just moved here 2009 and was meeting a friend for sous she in Santa Monica. Right on."

"I immediately got ready to go to the viper room, and the viper room was Johnny Depp's club, and my sister had a residency there with, at the time, darling stilettos. It was the most fun rock and roll girl group band that she was a part of, and the drummer was Matt Sorm from Guns N'Roses. This was my first day experience, so I rushed and got ready for that. My heart was. I see people from the Pussycat dolls watching in the audience."
