This episode is a reminder to laugh at yourself! I put myself to the test on my birthday (December 8th) and share how I adjusted the lens a bit to see humor in situations that previously would've caused irritation, frustration, and...stress. I also drive home the point that seemingly small acts can have significant impacts and ultimately lead to laughter and joy!

This end-of-the-month episode begins with one of my favorite holiday libations--Dreamy Nog. It's my very tasty recipe. Try it! I walk you through the steps, and you can definitely make it in under five minutes. It will change your mind about non-dairy nogs! Celebrations this month include a shout out to homemade pie! Then, I rant about my drive from the city to the country and answer questions about what else...non-dairy nog. What can I say? Non-dairy nog is serious business over here :)
Laughing Matters is published at the end of each month. It's the end-of-the-month highlights and includes four segments: celebrations, libation of the month, rants, and questions and answers. Celebrations are about intentionally forming a habit of noticing and acknowledging the good in you, in your life, and in your sphere of influence. The libation of the month is based on whatever I fancy or feel inspired by at the time. I share step-by-step instructions and you can mix right along with me. Rants are about anything I find funny and want to share. Then, I wrap up by answering questions received from listeners throughout the month.

This end-of-the-month episode begins with another one of my favorite libations--a Caipirinha. I walk you through the steps to make it in under five minutes, and it's delicious! Then, I share celebrations including improvements with self-care and rant about champagne and chicken, which I don't even eat, and why my home is only 70 percent painted after three weeks! There are many laughs...

This end-of-the-month episode begins with a new twist or perhaps I should say, a new shake. If you're in the mood for a tasty martini, you'll want to get your ingredients ready and listen at home. I walk you through the steps to make one of my favorite libations--a French Martini. I share the basic recipe and slow down enough for you make it with me. Try it and let me know what you think! I celebrate, of course, and rant about the state of my refrigerator at home. You know my rants are random right? You never know what I'll rant about at the end of each month!

This month was a difficult one for me and many in my circle. I was reminded once again that life is fragile and precious. I was reminded that life is not something to take for granted. With this in mind, I prompt you to reflect on your health and celebrate what is going well for you right now. I really needed a bit of uplifting myself, and it was wonderful to laugh. I laughed more than I expected while ranting about the cost of a medication I needed, and I share my fascination with food and beverage containers with long "FREE FROM" lists. Free from sugar. Free from gluten. What is carrageenan anyway? You get where I'm going with this! Finally, I wrap up with a couple of questions and make my first announcement about a couple of new things coming soon in September.
