Aviv likes the new Mission: Impossible, but Matt hates the new Fear Street. Can these two ever get along?

We recorded this episode in May of 2025, so the people whose voices you hear have no idea that we've just bombed Iran. Have pity on them.

(00:00:00) Week Recaps, Aviv Broke His Toe

(00:18:05) Episode Recap

Could a family of 12 have not one, not two, but four pedofiles in their orbit? You know it! Would a pastor try to marry his 13 year old victim in order to shield himself from consequences? You bet! Aviv broke his toe. Matt went to Walla Walla.

All this, and I guess we talk about an episode of SVU.

(00:00:00) Discussion of Impending Fascism!

(00:20:37) Episode Review

SVU finally tackles Black Lives Matter... How, you might be asking yourself. In the stupidest way possible. Olivia becomes a whole-ass villain. Carisi plants evidence. And Barba does maybe too good of a job prosecuting cops that shot an unarmed, innocent black man 35 times.

Rearrainge deck chairs on the Titanic of impending fascism on this week's episode of SVU.

Also, Matt bought a record player.

(00:00:00) Show Intro: Aviv's Got a Leak

(00:22:00) Episode Review

Whoopie Goldberg is either unbelievable or unbelievable in this episode. You get to decide which. Aviv has sprung a leak in his apartment, and Matt has sprung one in his brain as we discuss how Barba got so ripped and Rollins got so pregnant so fast on this week's episode: Season 17 Episode 4, Institutional Fail.
