This week Ricky and Gavin talk to designer and Lazarus Associate Artist, Sorcha Corcoran. Sorcha has worked nationally, and internationally as set, costume and events designer; her skills and experience cover many different areas including opera, fringe theatre, musicals, installations and live events. Her first project with Lazarus was as assistant to Richard Evans on The Merchant of Venice in 2013, which played at the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre, since then Sorcha has gone on to design set, costume or both on 7 productions including Caucasian Chalk Circle and our most recent production of Macbeth.
Sorcha is passionate about finding the individuality, originality, and character of each new project. She aims to work collaboratively and thus inspire the most evocative design in the context of the piece.
