The Louvre Museum was first used as a fortress in 1190. It was in 1793 that the Louvre became a museum.
Did you know that the Louvre has 460,000 works? Of course, there is the Mona Lisa or the Venus de Milo, which we all know. But many works of art are not accessible to the public. Each year, between 9 and 10 million visitors visit its 60,000 m².
