  • Summit Series 03:  Ernelita Dacumos - 5 Little-Known Steps to Become Confident in Yourself

About Ernelita Dacumos: Ernelita also known as Ernie, is an Independent Certified Coach, Facilitator, Trainer, and Speaker with the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. She has been thriving in the Healthcare Industry for over 10 years while fulfilling her purpose of motivating, teaching, and empowering young leaders to see their full potential.

Personal Growth is where her passion is as she has gone through the journey herself.

She is an enthusiast when it comes to confidence and had worked on becoming a confidence mentor for her community and the people around her. Ernie's goal is to broaden her ability to help others. As she saw first-hand that personal growth must be intentional yet not always available to everyone.

She is dedicating her life's work to creating a safe environment while educating, empowering, and spreading knowledge about Personal Development.

In this episode, Chabidaye and Ernelita discuss:

    • What is confidence?
    • Three sources of courage
    • Secrets for growing your confidence
    • How vulnerability inspires others

      Key Takeaways:

      • Confidence is not a personality trait, it’s not something that’s purely innate in somebody. Confidence is a skill that can be learned, trained, and improved.
      • If you need courage, here are three things that you can draw courage from: faith in yourself, faith that is given to you by others, or faith in a higher power. Having somebody that believes in you and using their faith as a reason to be courageous is a good starting point for being confident.
      • Whenever you have an intuitive idea, thought, or dream, do it. Also, you have to do your best not to negotiate with yourself as it will cause you to not take action. Celebrate yourself with something simple. Lastly, take action.
      • Some people think that being vulnerable would make you look weak, but actually, by being authentic and showing your vulnerability while also being a good example of a resilient person, you’ll be able to inspire others to do the same. People will look at you and would want to keep moving despite all that they are going through.

  • Summit Series 02: Debi Ronca - The Confidence Factor in Times of Transition

    About Debi Ronca:
Debi Ronca, International Best Selling Author, Certified Life Transition Coach, Speaker, and Podcast Host of The Transition Bridge Podcast. She empowers women to embrace, grow, and be transformed by the purpose and power of the transitions they experience in life. Through her proprietary process called REAL, she helps women RECOGNIZE the symptoms of transition, EVALUATE their mindsets and limiting beliefs, ALIGN to their next season, and LIVE it out in wholeness and clarity.

Her book, The Family Letter, International Best Seller, is having a global impact on families, equipping them to cultivate a culture of honor, encouragement, and value.

The Transition Bridge Podcast is a platform where you can come each week to be inspired, encouraged, and even challenged as you hear her guest's stories of struggle to triumph through the transitions they have navigated in their lives.

In this episode, Chabidaye and Debi discuss:

    • How transitions have the power to bring about personal growth
    • Facing the journey of transition
    • Discovering and leaning into your core values
    • The beautiful story that transition has for you

      Key Takeaways:

      • Transitions themselves will tap into our confidence - they’re gonna call our confidence into question because they're all about change, the unknown, uncertainty, and the positive of a transition is personal growth.
      • Change is inevitable, but transitions are all about the journey. Don’t be stuck in the same chapter of your life. Step into your confidence, and face the journey boldly. Don’t give up. If you give up on a book halfway, you’ll never see how the plot thickens or how a character develops.
      • A good trick to finding out what your core values in life are is to become aware of your feelings when you become upset. What was it that made you upset? Was it disrespect, injustice, or a lack of compassion? Knowing the reason behind the reaction will help you discover what’s truly important to you.
      • Transition has a beautiful story to tell in your life. You have so much to learn, so much to experience, there are so many more chapters in your life that are still waiting to be read. So don’t close your book. Don’t stop dreaming. Find the courage to believe. Don’t hold yourself back.

"Understand that there is a purpose and there is a process. If we go through the transition too quickly, we’re going to miss the purpose and the power of it." —  Debi Ronca

    • Achieving freedom from burnout

    Key Takeaways:

    • Emotions tend to get ignored. However, turning your face away from it won’t make it go away. When emotions are not addressed, they have the power to set the tone and the energy for the rest of the day and for the days beyond that.
    • In order for you to lead with emotions effectively, you’ve got to first be a good leader to yourself. Having good self-leadership starts with awareness and a willingness to be honest.
    • When you acknowledge an emotion and are able to label it, the intensity of it goes down. Time-box your emotions, address them today so that you won’t take them with you tomorrow. Lastly, remember that “negative” emotions drain your energy but they have a purpose and they can be channeled into creating something positive.
    • Growing an emotional culture starts with the leader. They must set the norm by being honest and giving people a space to be themselves and discuss their emotions. Be empathetic, compassionate, and willing to help.

"It's important for you to understand how you are, where you are, [and] the impact that you're going to have because emotions are contagious." —  Natalie Boudou

  • Janet Schoen: How To Increase Your Confidence

About Janet Schoen: Janet Schoen is a Professional Network Marketer and Coach at Schoen Health with 2 + years of experience helping women over 40 to find their energy, focus, and body back to follow the path that will fill them with more Joy, Love, and Peace.  Specializing in helping women navigate Trauma, Grief, and Menopause, Janet uses that experience to help women find true Peace, Love, and Fulfillment to use their gifts to serve others.

In this episode, Chabidaye and Janet discuss:

    • The light in the darkness
    • Honing in on your purpose
    • Tips you can apply in your journaling practice
    • Your story matters

    Key Takeaways:

    • Being able to go through dark times and come out as a different person with all the lessons that the traumatic experience had taught us isn’t only a gift for us, but also for those around us that listen to our story.
    • It doesn’t matter how hard you try to cover it up, your yearning to live out your purpose will always be there inside you. Ignore it but it will come back time and time again until you do something about it.
    • Don’t keep your ideas in your head. Put it down on paper so that they don’t suffocate your mind-space or become forgotten. When we have too many things in our heads, it’ll be hard for us to get new ideas.
    • You have a story to tell, you might just not know it yet. Every experience you’ve had can be a beacon of hope for somebody who might be going through something similar.

"Every day that our eyes open is a gift. We are [going] to learn something that’s going to help us one step close to whatever we’re doing - serving the Lord or serving the universe and just working together as a community." —  Janet Schoen
