Leadership is nothing without action. And in order to take action, we have to identify where, how, and what action to take that will drive the most impact for positive change. Start at the root cause of any issue or situation, then determine how you can pour into a cup with actions that will quench the thirst of a problem, as opposed to just spilling hot coffee all over the table.

This Women's History Month, I've been sharing on LinkedIn a daily quote, quip, or sip of women who have made an impact on my life. It got me thinking about my childhood role models and Julie Andrews was one of them. I was getting a bit nostalgic about "Mary Poppins" - one of my favorite movies of all time - and had the realization that this movie has several good and bad examples of leadership. So, let's have a tea party on the ceiling and sip these lessons together, before there's a run on the bank (too soon?).

The death of Stephen "tWitch" Boss shocked and rattled many of us. How can a seemingly happy and loving light like tWitch take his own life? Suicide rates are higher than ever and what we see isn't always what is happening in people's heads. I debated on doing this episode for weeks, but felt compelled before we close this year out to honor a life who brought light into this world, and share a few sips of what we as leaders can do to support mental health awareness with our teams, families and friends.
