LEAD WITH POSITIVE ENERGY
It is my experience that creating energy from nothing is very difficult if not impossible. As an MC, DJ or Motivational Speaker, I find a flat room to be hard to energize without some serious intention and effort.
Some people will use bright lights, loud music and a ton of dancing and clapping. Sometimes that works. Sometimes it conjures or stirs up emotional energy which really isn’t inline with the remainder of the day, the lesson or the intention of the event.
Take a wedding for example, there is one basic reason people attend a wedding, they love the couple. Take the couple out of the equation and trying to “create a party atmosphere” will be very different, especially without alcohol.
In your life, your business, your sales calls, your “chance meetings” you are the source of energy. If you don’t bring it, don’t expect it to be there. If you bring it and it’s negative, don’t expect much else.

LEAD YOUR OWN EMOTIONAL HABITS
There are two ways to change your habits at the subconscious level.
1. Hypnoses
2. Repetition
You can choose either one. Repetition is easier to do on your own, requires less financial invest and is what you’re already doing - you just don’t know it.
What you’re thinking about and choosing to feel about that thought is called an attitude. Once that attitude becomes a habit, you’re stuck with it.
In order to change it you need to intentionally change the thoughts you think and assign them feelings YOU WANT TO FEEL. If you want to be happy, choose an event which you experience regularly and assign HAPPY feelings to that event.
YOU MUST CHOOSE YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS. Also understand how contagious your attitude is to others.

This weekend I will speak at a fundraiser called Light The Torch with Cassandra Owens, Derrick Butts Bruce Kennedy and Benjamin Raymond.
The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and support to help those who find themselves struggling with circumstances which lead to homelessness. The primary overarching cause is simply being ill prepared for tough situations life throws at us. Many organizations do well providing resources to combat the circumstances of homelessness such as food, clothing, toiletries etc. TORCH plans to help solve the problem of Ill Preparedness 50 men at a time in order to one alleviate the symptoms of homelessness.
Please join us if you can and be a part of this tremendous effort to restore complete hope for our fellow humans.

Do you know someone one yet who lost their life to texting and driving or drinking and driving?
The mercy needed the accept a mistake which alters the course of your life is huge. Everyday we make decisions which impact ourselves and others. Everyday we selfishly choose one course over another, one friend over another, one career over another and leave behind alternatives. Sometimes those choices are literally a matter of life and death. The choice we make in the moment of fear and anger and regret could be catastrophic for many people involved. We must choose wisely and sometimes that means we need help.
Teen pregnancy is one of those issues which happens most often unintentionally, unplanned and brings with it great fear and pain. Decisions will be made. Destinies will be impacted. Lives will be forever changed.
If you or someone you know has found themselves in this situation just know there are many alternatives. Consider all of them with much time, thought, compassion, selflessness and wise counsel.
