The Toronto Maple Leafs had an up-and-down weekend after shutting out the Ottawa Senators and losing to the Detroit Red Wings. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti give their thoughts on the back-to-back starting with the win over their Battle of Ontario rival and what impressed them from the game. They move on to the loss to Detroit where the Leafs decided to rest Mitch Marner, Jake McCabe, and Mark Giordano which was a head-scratcher considering the team hasn't clinched home ice in the first round. They discuss some of the mistakes the Leafs made against Detroit and why it continues to be a trend with this team. Matt Murray was forced to leave the game after a nasty fall on the ice, Dave explains why he was frustrated with the injury, a potential EBUG situation and could happen between the pipes going forward. To end the show, Mike and Dave give their thoughts on Michael Bunting getting on the officials bad side and Sheldon Keefe's comments about the situation.
