Leah Aripotch returns to the podcast fresh on the heels of  being on the Netflix Show: Metal Shop Masters. This is the premier season where 7 Metal Artists & Fabricators compete against each other for $50,000.  Leah was awesome and we shed some light on what it was like filming a television show in the fall of 2020 while Covid19 was raging. How does that change the mindset behind the scenes. We had a very enlightening conversation about  putting yourself out in the public eye and stepping out of your comfort zone on the big stage. We talked about direction and her time at The Center for Metal Arts and how forging now influences her work. 

Leah is one of the most talented sculptors I know. Her work is immaculate and complicated; exploring the contrast of biological forms with the permanence of the material all while highlighting how the mind traps our traumas to influence our decisions.
