Having done undergrad at York University and grad school at UofT, he is now a professor at Ryerson University, a researcher, and a chair-holder in the prestigious CRC program. His lab tries to pin down how our cells build their complex internal structures and further focuses on lysosomes. Born in a small village in Portugal, to moving to Canada at the age of 14 for a chance to go to highschool & university, he has always loved science & nature! He tries to bring the same passion and excitement into his teaching & always aims to give students a great classroom experience through his storytelling!
