𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢 𝘚𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢 is a twin mama, educator, soon to be published author, and the maker/creative face behind @_mywildtribe_ custom made apparel and gifts. Her brand is more than just her custom made items- although most famous for her mom swag and ‘Cool’ line, it’s about creating a community and believing in 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 all day everyday. Amanda openly and candidly shares about the juggle, the struggles, the raw and the real shit that goes on when you are hustling, working, being a wife, mama, friend, etc., in hopes that others can 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕, and that the stigma of ‘having it together always’ 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅.
In this episode Amanda and I discuss navigating through our pandemic fatigue and how important it is to check in with others and yourself during these uncertain times. She shares how she's been coping with being a full time educator and Mom and how often times guilt has set in trying to balance both roles. While 2020 was a wild year, we both mentioned how purposeful last year was and how much growth we've both experienced. Due to Amanda's personal and professional growth, she realized that her brand was coming along for the ride. She mentions her rebranding and how her "My Wild Tribe" name has been a catalyst for this change. With the rebranding comes triggers.
